Annabel Rose is a Bristol/Ludlow-based harpist, producer, and composer creating ambient soundscapes that merge with electronic folk influences. Inspired by artists like Björk, Underscores, and Grouper, her music blends organic harp melodies with manipulated harp and layered vocals into new textural sounds.
From a young age, Annabel’s journey in music began with learning the piano and has been complimented by the harp in the last 5 years. Her music explores themes of love, nature and feeling alive and develops a unique approach to the harp and through her music. Whilst combining the organic sound of the harp with electronic processing, she continues to experiment pushing the boundaries of the harp’s traditional sound. Annabel has recently begun mixing her music via a surround sound environment, using immersive audio techniques in the studio and in live performances. Within her music it is most important that audiences feel immersed yet grounded.
